Experienced with all aspects of residential HVAC service and installation. The individual for this position will be personable and have excellent mechanical skills, total familiarity with Cape Cod, an excellent driving record, ability to lift heavy equipment, able to cover night and weekend service. We are looking for the best of the best as we are in our 100th year in business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Arrive at 8:00 AM, take your assignment, whether service (including annual tune-ups, mechanical failure, barbeque grill issues, etc.) or installation of equipment (gas or oil boilers, furnaces, water heaters, gas logs, gas inserts, gas stoves, split heating and cooling systems, etc.), perform the function in a timely and professional manner, contact the office upon completion and receive your next assignment. Work is completed at 4:30PM and overtime begins after 40 hours in any given week. You will be assigned a truck (service, oil tank installation, or HVAC truck) with the appropriate equipment for the job. You will be expected to have your own basic tools and other specific tools (efficiency testers, pipe threaders, pipe cutters, dollies, stair climbers, etc.) will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills:
Oil burner technician certification, journeyman or master plumber, or gas fitter, A/C certifications and continued education in all fields including Mitsubishi split systems, and Rinnai products. 5 years minimum experience in the HVAC field, ability to think outside the box, use a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, for servicing equipment requiring code identification, manufacturer service codes, etc.
Our health provider is Harvard Pilgrim and we cover 50% of the annual premium. We provide 100% for short term disability, two weeks paid vacation after one year of employment, three weeks paid vacation after 10 years of employment, 6 sick days per year accumulated at a rate of 4 hours per month, 10-11 paid holidays per year, dental plan available, and 401K.
Salary: $52,000 to $67,000 per year
